View from the Sea Shepherd ship Bob Barker of the Ady Gil being rammed by Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru No. 2, operated by The Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), on January 6, 2010. As a result of this hit, the Ady Gil sustained heavy damage. All of the six Ady Gil crew members were rescued by the Sea Shepherd's new vessel, the Bob Barker. One crew member sustained broken ribs in this collision. An attempt was made to tow the Ady Gil to port, but the lines kept snapping as she took on water, and she finally sunk in the Southern Ocean the day after this incident.

  • After the tsunami incident in Japan, I think we can say that nature got it's revenge for the whales.

  • Okay, if you look closely, the batmobile rammed into the whaling vessel, not vice versa. And even the whaling ship rammed into the batmobile, why should the Japanese be blamed? Sea Shepard has rammed into them many times, so that's called revenge.

  • @samuraiprose they STILL haven't found out who shot im yet?

  • Perhaps next meeting the smaller boat picks up a 30 mm. cannon at a South African flea market. Just Sayin.

  • The Shonan Maru No. 2 seems to have veered into a direct collision course with the Ady Gil at the last second. Going to ICRWhale.org, their first and last insistence on the matter is that their activities are "perfectly legal".

I suppose they included this moment into the list of activities excused by the law as well. That's without mentioning the fact that Paul Watson caught a bullet under the pretense of "perfectly legal activities" by an as-of-yet unidentified sniper.

  • @nolan83 and of course fuck you japanese whalers :)

  • @wordbeyotch fuck (japanese) whalers, let them sink

  • "Japanese Suicide Rate Swells Amid Prolonged Economic Slump".

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Suicide_in_Japan

"Common methods of suicide are jumping in front of trains, leaping off high places, hanging, or overdosing on medication. Rail companies will charge the families of those who commit suicide a fee depending on the severity of disrupted traffic."

  • @wordbeyotch i hope your just trolling or something or your really stupid...

  • Go Japan! Ram all pirates.
