Ady Gil Being Rammed, View From Bob Barker

View from the Sea Shepherd ship Bob Barker of the Ady Gil being rammed by Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru No. 2, operated by The Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), on January 6, 2010. As a result of this hit, the Ady Gil sustained heavy damage. All of the six Ady Gil crew members were rescued by the Sea Shepherd's new vessel, the Bob Barker. One crew member sustained broken ribs in this collision. An attempt was made to tow the Ady Gil to port, but the lines kept snapping as she took on water, and she finally sunk in the Southern Ocean the day after this incident.

The key word was "RARE" animals... Also cows are bred to be slaughtered and as such a comparison like this is completely irrelevant. I do not agree with the racial stereotyping by the original post, but if you want to comment telling someone to get their facts right you should probably do some research yourself first...

I hate whaling, but Paul Watson has made a practice of sending light small craft into waters they shouldn't be anywhere near, from trimarans, one sunk and the other damaged by sailing it into a storm, which was insane, and not making a distress call, which could have cost the lives of everyone on board, to sending small open boats into the Southern Ocean and leaving them to drift for hours away from anyone, he's lucky, very lucky no one has been killed yet. Seriously.
