Dan Erlewine loves hide glue. It dries hard like crystal -- that's great for transferring tone. It can be reheated and repositioned, too. Amazing stuff!

  • Can this be used for making neck thru electric bodies

  • @donuntboy25 Yes, but you probably shouldn't do it if you've never used hide glue before. It has very short open time, less than a minute. You can warm up the pieces prior to gluing to extend open time a bit, but even then, a couple of minute at best in an ideal condition. You have to be able to set, align and clamp before hide glue gels within a minute or so.

  • These videos are fantastic guys. Please keep them coming. The techniques are really applicable, and I like getting a sneak peek into Dan's shop.

  • Can this glue be used for gluing necks onto bodies?
