1st off, this ain't got diddley to do with "The Apprentice" and it's use of The O'Jays for its theme. I only YouTubed that quite near the end of this project.
A project that's been simmering within since the songs release in `73.
And as always, the video is a secondary aspect to the pieces I produce, but this would be one a' the more fun ones !
Preferred mp3 -- http://www.mediafire.com/?v54bea71334ms5y
The basic premise here is actually rather obvious :
Arrange loops & links from the most instrumental & groovin' parts of "For the Love of Money", and see how many Beatley references to monetary moolah will work with it . . . turns out, most of `em !
And for those who'd ask, the interview segments w/ George, yielding moments like "I say I'm a millionaire" & "♪ money is the root of all evil ♪" ( plus others ) comes from "George Harrison visits Levi Booker at KLOL-FM Houston".
It was new to me after this was already underway, and this may have been my source for that : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Q7QSZNN0
However, the end-section interview ( and it's video ) comes from the promotions of the 1991 CD release of "The Concert For Bangladesh".
So . . .should I have a "Name The Songs" contest for where every sample comes from ?
Further credits where due :
The "long-necked Bowie" is from markdraws, 8/09
http://es.toonpool.com/cartoons/David%20Bowie_54572
and the "celebrities merged with money" shots were from a 2008 Photoshop contest on Freaking News :

I used the Ben Stiller, Jack Nicholson and Gene Wilder . . but in retracing my source for these credits, I found a bunch more I wished I'd used !!
EXCELLENT re-mix & production! GREAT job!!!! LOVED it!
BTW...what other software are using with imovie? GREAT effects!

@terris1958: Now see . . . I just knew you'd ask what effects were in my arsenal outside of iMovie.
My iMovie is still `06 HD, and I got quite a range of Slick Effects plug-ins from Gee Three a few years ago.
I've got Final Cut Express from my brother Jim as well, but I keep goin' w/ iMovie cuz I always wanna' work on something, rather then spend 3 months getting up to speed on a legendarily complicated app when inspiration's bubblin' up !
ya' know ?

@DmRofAtoZ Tooooo funny, i am also still using imovie 6 & have many "Slick" GeeThree plug-ins! Tried Final Cut Express (nearly blew up my ibook G4...LOL)! I did see some cool effects in your vid & thought you did an amazing job with the re-mix too!
Well, cheers again!

@terris1958: Amazing, but not so strange that someone else out there would be using iMovie 6 w/ an array of "Slicks". But several levels of 'cool' are added when it's someone who's feel-for-editing I found myself often relating to !
We talked about my horrified reaction to your "stitch-eyes" in messages, not comments here ..but I'll say it here, wtf -- I immediately got the Dali connection, or it at least made me think of his film-segment, and boy ! ..
there's no film I'd avoid more !

@DmRofAtoZ : Yeesh, I get tired of YouTube's limited characters for messages ! . . but I didn't wanna have my message cut there.
So let's see . . . well, I don't pay much attention to ViewTube these days . . I mainly post them here after posting on FaceBook, for friends who aren't "Facial" yet . . . are you in "the Book of Faces" ?
