probably canceled due to speculation of bad sales by the some higher-ups in the company. speculation is the biggest table turner in marketing and games made by companies are always controlled by marketing decisions. it's why north america has seen nothing but shooter games for the last 10 or more years and creativity has become so stagnate in major game corporations.

The game looked pretty ambitious. It was probably canceled because they couldn't make it in a reasonable amount of time. At least that's my guess.

like starcraft, but before starcraft was released. maybe interplay was afraid of blizzard so they cancelled this game, they knew starcraft would sell like hell.
