  • SP 8655 was built as PRR 6192 and re-built into SD40-M2 by MK for SP

  • Best locomotive ever.

  • Southern Pacific 8655 was rebuilt as an SD40-2 by the time it made it to the SP roster.

  • So you bought 105 SD45's to turn them into SD-40's...? Regardless, my favorite looking SD series with the flaired radiators

  • emd builds the best engines. thats it.

  • I love that high pitch hum that come from SD, FP, F, SDP and DDM-45s!

  • KCSM in Mexico holds one of the three EMD SD45 demonstrators. It is the TFM # 1200, Nee EMD demostator #4354
