Disc 1 is Leon

Disc 2 is Claire

You can play with the Disc you want.

If you start with Disc 2 you have to play the "A" side of Claire. After finishing that and saving your state on the memory-card you can play with Disc 1 on Leons "B" side.

Same counts for Leon. Play Disc 1 you play Leons "A" side. After finishing you can play Claires "B" side on Disc 2 .

Of all the RE games that had to be reamade... the first one was the choice... it should have been this game that got remade. Come on, everyone knows Leon is the better character than what... Chris Redfield and Jill!

only by playing in normal or hard mode, without taking any items(ammo, pumgun, herbs, sprays) till you reach the police station

I agree I hate what they've done to RE. why did they have to change the story line and take out zombies? why not keep in puzzles, umbrella, zombies and keep the new game play? Just make the zombies faster like in dawn of the dead?

Leon is better as an actual human trying to survive rather than the bad ass they made him in 4.

remakes of resident evil 2 and 3 in gamecube were maybe shit but resident evil 1 remake gamecube is the best game ever made noob....the good kind of players, playing since old segas, ness and more (the people with 25-30 years old now) love both games of resident evil 1, remake and not remake cause that remake was pure art, maybe u are a child who loves uncharted and that today's games(shits).
