@mrbilliards1962 You'll actually find that holding notes for longer than that is actually very common in professional barbershop quartet arrangements and the more effortlessly they sing shows the true calibur of the quartet.
@step1990 "Polyphonic" is actually a form of the word "polyphony" which means two or more melodies sounding simultaneously. Polyphonic, as you're using the term, sounds much more like "multiphonic" than polyphonic.
Those guys should have a record deal by now. As far as clearity is concern may not be the best but the harmony is beyond perfect. Those guys are originally from heaven they don't fool me. They were sent here to show us how Barbershop Quartet is suppose to sound like. To much ambience in the room, but if they record this song in a studio, everyone will witness they are truly Angels from the most high.
lovely style, I want to joint a group like that. I sing all my songs a cappelle, care to check them out?

@quaccy I suspect it is the camera's fault in the clarity department.
This is a fantastic quartet.

Without a doubt, the best quartet performance ever. For someone to hold a note for 17 seconds is simply outstanding.
