hi man i really love the jamerson sound and think you get so damn close.
i myself aint such a rich bass player so a 62 precision RI isn't gonna happen yet :(
but on ebay there is a squier JV precision '57 but it has a maple neck with maple fretboard. does this affect the sound in comparison to rosewood?

I've been reading about the tragic story of Roger Penzabene who wrote the trilogy of You're My Everything, I Wish It Would Rain and I Could Never Love Another. I would love to hear your Jamerson's for the last two. Iv'e heard the first.

This was a request but I absolutely love it - I'm not playing it well enough though - Jamerson's timing is sublime on the original. I might have to have another go :)
