Fantasy on Parade (part 1 of 3)

Here I am again, with another rare parade from the 80's. This time, it's Fantasy on Parade. This video is from 1986 (which was the last year of Fantasy on Parade, before it went back to being called Very Merry Christmas Parade, although this parade has VMCP elements, including the same music, it had different floats and units that did not make it next year, which includes a Dumbo unit and a Pinocchio unit which took forever. So enjoy the first of 3 parts of this classic parade, which is very contrast to the one aDREAMERkid posted mostly because they 80ized the music here.

I was working there at the time, sometimes on the parades. I just put up a video about my disaster with the Circus Fantasy elephants. I remember this parade like it was yesterday. I thought the transparent castle was one of the more creative floats they ever did. That was 25 years ago, where did the time go???

Thank yoyu for sharing! I saw the parade at 4 years old on December 26th, 1986. I have a home movie of it somewhere but not sure where. You are so awesome for sharing!!
