Pavarotti in the first steps oh his PRIME. Nobody can sing this aria better him. His joyful and lovely liric voice was just perfectly suitable for this aria!

  • Wow, I have listen to this area performed by many tenors, but no one can do it as the MAN HIMSELF, compared to him, the other tenors seem to fail, in rithem, high notes or fullenss of the voice. I love you MAN!!! This is just enchanting! GRAZIE LUCIANO, SEMPRE!

  • Wow... Just simply amazing, what a blessing from God to the world!!

  • @mauriciomille You act as if the man was a god. He had a great lyric voice. But when he made ventures into lighter rep such as this, there were clear flaws in his technique. His portamento is very noticeable. Also, he's crushing the c's. When I listen to JDF, its so easy and perfect. JDF's duke or arnold from guillaume tell don't hold a candlelight to pavarotti's.

  • Pavarotti had a monumental voice, a class in its own.

JDF is an excellent tenor still in his prime and interpretes the very same aria to absolute perfection, as if his voice was made just for that song. Please do not make comparisons!

  • Memorial Day today; 4 years ago he left this world. Memory eternal Grand Tenoro !

  • the king of kings

  • @zurriussII so, the song is named 'to my girl? or as you said before, 'to my beloved?', thanks dude

  • @mauriciomille "fille" means a girl but is pronoucned as "fi"

  • @zurriussII and fill?... is young?

  • @JackYoony you forgot to say "imho" :)

  • @zurriussII Florez sounds more stable in the high C's and has better stacatos while Pavarotti goes up to reach the C from a little below. Of course Pavarotti has great interpretation of the song. no mean to mock him. just wanted Florez to be recognized for his good skills.

  • @JackYoony i like both, but please dont touch the maestro
