    Also, the video mentions pulling the fume hood sash down as far as possible, but the lab worker is shown working with the sash up.

    No. Eye protection is REQUIRED under a face shield by OSHA. The face shield is not adequate protection for the eyes.

    Wat is the best way to weigh and transfer solid LAH? Fires have started bc hexane was used for spatulas w/ LAH etc. I was told the best was just to leave at back of fume hood?
