  • @yogashmoga Actually, the art that you're referring to is called Penjing. And yes, while it was first, bonsai is vastly different and thus the actual art of bonsai originated in Japan. Although I will give you credit for saying the Chinese had an influence in it.

  • they should number these vids.

  • i have just brought a 4 year old bonsi i'm not sure what kind it is as i brought it from tesco, i don't have any of these tools but do i reeeeeeeally need them as i have no idea where to get them and don't want to buy anything from the internet? )live in england)

  • Ive watched other bonsai vids, and this guy really encourages me to start the hobby. It looks like a very relaxing hobby.

  • Oh it's a Juniper. It's me the way it is.

  • I just bought a bonsai tree. The scissors he is using are they the same as snips..The scissors I own are J.A Henkles..They are very sharp and I can sharpen them I have dikes(not females, don't want to piss anyone off) can I use Sterilized dikes? Stop laughing. Seriously can I use them to trim this tree it's very special to me. (not my penis) I swear when when I opened the box the tree trembled. Really seriously can I use sharp Sterilized dikes.

  • Didn't bonsai originate in India, then transition to China then Japan?

  • where can i get the tools??

  • Great videos, They give me the encouragement to start a bonsai tree. Something I have always wanted to do, but did not know how to begin.

  • Very helpful thank you mate.
