I just realized both of Ranma's rivalries from/revolving around China have to do with FOOD! lol.

P-Chan the pig had his food stolen from Ranma in school errrday. Then got turned into a pig and almost eaten.

Shampoo got into a fight with Ranma because he was eating Shampoo's Prize banquet as a girl.

Ranma seems like quite the high-school bully =P

Shampoo is a Chinese version of because she has the same amount of strength and possibly flight. She rides on her bike as fast as Wonderwoman can run and Nuxetsu is a village full of Chinese Amazonian women where Shamoo was born & raised which means that it's a Chinese mainland version of Paradise Island/Thymascera and finally, Shampoo leaves Nuxetsu to live in Japan as a Cat Cafe waitress.
