  • this video is very much a reality these days. i live in az and just today heard a story like this. it's all ages. thank you for letting people know that there is help out there.

  • Thanks. Please help me maintain awareness of both the reality of the problem, unwanted & concealed pregnancies resulting in baby death, and the safe haven alternatives to abandonment, by forwarding 'georgia's story" on to others.

  • Oh my!That was harsh!I still dont understand how women do that?

  • Women who give birth in secret often have concealed their pregnancy not only to others, but to themselves as well. It's important to remember that these girls are not monsters and that they are victims too. "Georgia's Story" is about the lives of two people at a crossroads; it takes courage for Georgia to make a decision that is morally correct over one that uses whatever means possible "to make it just go away." Please go to MySpace (/georgiastory) to learn more.

  • check out the trailer to stephaniedaley-themovie dot com... if this vid impresses you, this movie will move you to a place between intense compassion and utter horror.

  • Stephanie Daley does a great job portraying the complex issues behind concealed pregnancy, secret births and the subconscious denial that accompanies both. I recommend everyone see this film, if for know other reason than to get people talking about a very real and not uncommon problem.

  • Jesus - does it matter if she was really pushing? There is a message here and you are concerned about whether or not she was really pushing!!!! WTF??

  • I understand the meaning behind the vid, but it is too fake.

If she didn't know she was pregnant but gave birth, the baby would be head-down and would drown. It wouldn't cry.

I think the message should be, that, if you think you are pregnant, the worst thing you can do is to deny it. There is help. There are more options that just letting bub die.

  • Theirs called "didn't know I was pregnant" :/ I almost lost it when she threw the baby away I'm like really?! Then it rewinded and i felt better :o

  • At least the baby is safe

  • @sophmeister303 - I had assumed when I first watched it that the blood on the toilet bowl meant that the bub was born into the toilet.

But I do have to say that not all babies cry when born. Easy and normal births yes, but It took 3 minutes and alot of work from the doctors and nurses to get my nephew breathing let alone crying.

  • @verticalsmurf she wasn't on the toilet when she gave birth! she was sitting on the floor it went on to the floor. and babies do cry when they're born. after being squeezed through a tiny space (which hirts) they do cry.

  • Omg the baby isnt that rotten..meanie

  • that made me cry...omg that POOR baby..what a cruel woman. In shock or not..omg.

  • This was really disturbing. Oh dear D:

  • when she threw it in the bin i was like OMG!! NO! and then i was ;O:O:O:O:O:O:

and when she gave it away i was questioning myself. how did she cut her umbilical cord and WHY IS THE BABY IN A RUCKSACK

  • im sorry. i didnt mean to laugh but . " WTF is that ???!?!!!" that was kindof funny

  • Omg
