Portland Police car was seen parking his official vehicle by a fire hydrant . An officer I assumed to be driver was found inside a inside a restaurant having a samwich, visible from outside through the window. I stuck around and saw that officer come out of the restaurant and get into the cruiser in question confirming my suspicion. This is similar to Jimmy Justice video, except I chose not to confront, but just share whats going on with the public.

  • you people are lame as hell when you need the police you are going to appreciate every minute of it but i guess act like your in High school and knock the police that you think do nothing but break the law (lame)

  • Does that give them the right to abuse their status?

  • I do not believe the action of the said officer is legal. If it was legal, the Mayor should try justifying to the citizens that if you park illegally, you'd get summons, but a Law Enforcement Officer is allowed to park his vehicle in front of fire hydrant by Pita Pit, not responding to a crime happening there, but to get food.

  • Micheal J Fox could hold a camera steadier than you...

  • First off you need the life, I looked at your profile and that says more then enough about your odd beliefs (9-11 was done aliens right?). What's the matter a police officer make you mad sometime in your life? Huh, the donuts and coffee joke. You cant handle the mental and physical stresses of law enforcement, let me guess you seem like a person that cries and bitches about every little detail in life. Anyways, no I'm not in law enforcement I am a Soldier.

  • Psst, this wasnt a real police officer... or atleast he shouldnt have been

  • thats life but he didnot break any laws sorry charlie

  • The fire land is used for any emergency vehicle even if there is no emergency at all

  • Its not like he wouldn't know there was a fire right next door or something. He could move it as soon as dispatch says theres a fire or something in the area......

  • Even if he is on a call he can't block a hydrant. Can you hook a 3 inch hoseline to this patrol car and flow water or use this police car as a shuttle service? The cercumstances determine what traffic laws you are exempt, if any.

  • They can park in emergency zones when they have to. They have lights and sirens too. They can use then when they need, but does that mean they can use it whenever they want? Can they use lights and sirens to go get their lunch?

I drive an emergency vehicle, and you need to be certified and you learn that you only use your exemption from the laws when you need it, not for your own pleasure and convenience. If he was there on a call, then he's good, if he's eating a sandwich, he's not.

  • so many smart asses commenting here. lawlz.

  • Guess what dip-shit? "emergency Vehicles" are allowed to park in "Emergency Zones" and yes that includes fire hydrants! I suppose you don't want fire trucks parked there either huh? yeah your right that does make since...

  • hippies
