  • @edmonddantes64 Agreed..Rebreather only!..go buy us two and I'll go with you.,,I'll need plane fare, hotel and so forth...as long as I'm willing to dive with a rebreather in a cave it's the least you can do!!

And you call yourself a dive buddy! Shame.

  • @edmonddantes64 The longer gases bubble make contact with water the more the molecules in the gas defuse into the water molecules. That how water becomes oxygenated and so forth. But your right it could get taken up by the rocks.

  • Wow!

  • @realistromeo It never looks like you see man made created air pockets. My guess is that they dissipate up through the porous limestone.

I haven"t done any cave diving yet, but that would be my guess.

I would also prefer to use a rebreather instead of tanks if possible.

  • COOL!!!

seeing that it's fresh water and I'm guessing that not just any yahoo dives there....why don't they ever leave additional safety tanks behind?

  • Amazing pristine environment, i would never attempt the squeeze portion, thats just too extreme for me...but i dont think the small surface fish following the diver would negativly affect the lower depths...unless they were smart lil fishes and returned with him, if they werent smart they would suffer in the darkness and die, becoming food for the sightless mobs.

I wonder if the air pockets they create on each dive will affect the environment? will they stay or disipate into the limestone?

  • Amazing

  • still though, you got to treat this like it's your life in your hands!

  • Amazing! Viva Xibalba Dive Center!

  • Another excellent work...
