Color Dungeon from Link's Awakening DX (Mario Paint)

Sixty-eighth video. It's been a whole month since last I uploaded; sorry for the unexplained hiatus. Anyway, as you can obviously tell from the title, this theme belongs to the secret color dungeon found in the deluxe version of Link's Awakening. A remix of the dungeon theme from the original Zelda, one can encounter the theme in-game by pushing five gravestones in a precise pattern The unique part about this dungeon is that it's entirely optional, but the reward for completing it is great; Link will be able to wear a tunic of a different color, granting him a permanent Piece of Power or Guardian Acorn. ***Thanks a lot to delaythepickup for doing the recording of this piece***

I didn't have the deluxe version of Link's Awakening until very recently when I acquired it from my cousin who was selling his old Game Boy games. Since I had already made all the other dungeon themes from Link's Awakening in Mario Paint Composer, it's surprising that no one told me I missed this one. Many of the notes go outside of the ordinary composer staff, so I probably wouldn't have been able to make this theme well at the time I made the other nine. Now, however, that's changed.

Hey man, good to see you back again. =P It's also nice to sear some good Zelda music on MPC again. xD I can actually see myself going through this dungeon again, and getting the room full of money.

I'm envious of the ending of part 2 where you have the two scales playing. I tried to do that on a MIDI composer and it always sounded so horrible. I even followed the sheet music exactly. Haha. Anywho, great job.

I remember this game. Everytime when I plop Link's Awakening DX on the Super Game-Boy on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, It gave a warning saying "This game only works on the Game Boy Color system."
