@Fit4Purpose80 Scholes had to play with some absolute rubbish at international level, the likes of Danny Mills, Darius Vassell, Emile Heskey etc etc. Then, when he was at his peak in 2004, he was shunted out left in favour of Gerrard and Lampard.

I know that British people are ignorant of continental football, hence most think Gerrard and Lampard are better than Scholes, the most continental english footballer. Scholes if one of the all time greats, just ask Zidane, Davids, Bryan Robson......

im sorry im 100% english, but scholes never did it for me at international level only for man utd. zidane was right to praise him he was a great player. defo better than lampard and gerrard.
