Just a quick word to unveil this new cover done for Radical Comics' "GallowWalker" prequel story. The film GallowWalker will be released sometime in the coming months from Lion's Gate Films. The film's website is still not active but I will endeavor to link something when it goes live. This cover was a joy. Working with a Wesley Snipes character again was pure gravy, and working with Radical Editor In Chief Dave Elliot was smooth as silk.

The movie was originally titled "The Wretched"; Yun-Fat Chow, Paz Vega and Catalina Sandino Moreno were attached to star. Production was scheduled to begin in June 2005 in New Mexico, but it didn't happen.

In October 2006, while filming this movie, Wesley Snipes was indicted on a litany of tax-dodging charges, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Production on the film began before the Grand Jury returned the indictment. On Dec. 8th, 2006 Snipes flew into his hometown of Orlando on a private jet and voluntarily turned himself in. Snipes pleaded not guilty to all charges; he was released on $1 million bond and allowed to return to Africa to finish this movie.

It's so ironic that this movie is going to be released after Django. When Gallowalkers finally gets released, everybody is going to be calling it Django with zombies.
