Musicians today sample all the old school stuff and the kids think they created. Little do they know back in the day music was so much better than it is now. You had to have "real" talent to sound good not just equiptment and a good producer to make you sound good.

back in the 70s you had to have talent you had to be dam good or else you didint survive...you didint last .....these days if you look the part seems to be more important...and the record exects will tell you how long you have.....not the raw talent

People respond to this music today just as much as they did when it came out... Its a shame that the industry doesn't realize it. I don't want to come down on hip hop... but rap doesn't seem to have changed much over the past 20 years... yet no one calls it old... So why can't straight ahead funk still be going and considered the sound of today too... ???

I really hear ya! Today's young artists act they created music! Not much talent or creativity. More splash than raw talent. Music back in the 70's was the real deal.

It was my first experience with my digital camera. the memory was getting low and couldn't get the whole song. But it is a great tease you must admit
