Why dont you go out and save someone were no one else will go because theu ARE scared? There are alot of people out there that think all christians are kooks.
Theres alot of People that dont think God is any more real then Santa Clause. Maybe I would have a different outlook on you if you wanted to start some witness groups which is what Jesus really wanted.Hmm or how about Bone up and start proclaiming jesus as yer saviour to people that need to hear it. This is why I say Im not a christian!!!

Hmmm. . . I will pray for you.
If you want to evangelize maybe you could put together a group of few trustworthy Christian friends and just start doing it. If you want pamphletes, bibles, etc. then there are plenty resources out there.
I could probably find you some resources. As a matter of fact, one of the groups that sends me pamphletes on regular basis has an evangelizing group in L.A. area - they frequently evangelize in Hollywood.

I'm glad to hear that you went back to the church and try to fix problems - it takes courage to do that. I've tried to talk to pastors about church problems and gotten thrown out. . . .so I pray that God wil change their hearts.
My advice: EVANGELIZE
A big problem that churches have in Japan is keeping a steady attendance of real Christians - but they can't increase the true body of Bible believers without evangelizing. They want the fruit but they do not plant the seed in the soil.

I dunno if they are a fad or not - but I do know that my experiences in them haven't been what I expected... and I think you're right on about evangelizing - though most of the churches I know aren't too big on it either - other than they have a building to host fairs and weddings...

In addition to the above comments I would say that house churches do almost nothing in regards to evangelizing to non-believers yet here in Japan less than 1% of Japanese are Christians.
I evangelize with a couple friends in Tokyo area and I know a few groups which evangelize in Japan & other countries. Still, far too few Christians are willing to grab a bullhorn, pound the pavement and spread the word - and I've heard many excuses for not doing it.
Sorry - house churches are only a fad.
My last coment stunk because I ran out of space, sorry but what I ment was your a Good Person and it would be good for you to go out on your own, dont be scared to do what Jesus wanted,us to witness to each other and live like you know you should ,the ten comandments and the lords prayer.
ok I dont say this topic well ,so just tell people about Jesus dieing and show miracles and dont be chicken to answer when people say to you "How do you know theres a God" or what I like to say Creator.peaceLove
