Who's this guy in Brin's big blue chair?! So, I've been in guy-mode lately and it was high time I made a video and this was a perfect topic. This may be the most natural Paul on video thus far.

Also, check out my video response where I finish out the closing. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWIPIvIHGkY )

  • Your videos have really helped my husband who is bi gender. He goes into male mode and female mode. He came out at his office job as a transgender. No surgery but does HRT. He likes to dress in men's clothing when he's male and in women's clothing when he's female. Management pulled him in for a meeting and told him he has to be consistent in his dressing at work and asked him if he has had surgery or plans to have it. He was so distressed about the meeting. What should he do?

  • @uehoffman Woof, you don't ask the easy questions... Does he work in a customer-facing position? Does his company have a gender-identity inclusive non-discrimination clause? Does the municipality or state you live in? Is it a large company or smaller? Could he have a education session about being bigender? Is there something I can do? I'm no expert on anything, but, perhaps one of my videos would be helpful to help them understand?

  • Just started watching your videos. You're really interesting, thoughtful, articulate. You've probably been asked this question before, so i apologize in advance. But i was wondering how much harder it is for you to pass physically as a guy as you continue hrt, and whether you expect to present full time as a woman at some point in the future.

  • @es4331 It's not hard for me to pass as a guy. I've been training for that for 30 years. ;) I don't know that I'll ever present fulltime as female.

  • I hadn't ever met anyone that waxed and waned between genders like you've described. I always found it very troubling when I stated locked into one persona too long. I'd find myself questioning my gender identity all over again and it's enough to drive you mad. Thanks for your insights.

  • I too just found your videos today and you've lifted a giant weight from my shoulders! Thank you. I am bigender

  • Just have to tell you that this video is incredibly helpful.I've been bigender for a while and thought I was just faking it, or something like that, because it didn't make sense compared to others' experiences. But this particular video, two years after I became comfortable enough with what I was to try to explain to others, explains it in a way that makes me feel like I have kindred spirits in this. Thanks.

  • I just found your videos today, and I wanted to say thank you. I feel like I've finally found my label, after always being confused and uncertain because I never really felt like I was just one gender. People always talk about how it's bad to label yourself, but it's actually kind of scary and isolating when you don't have a label, because it means you don't know that there are other people like you. Now I know there are other people like me, and it's very comforting. Thank you.

  • I love your videos!

I have the same lamp in the background as you haha

  • Doesn't everyone have a mixture of gender? Someone in my college did a psychology project that involved a list of questions that identified peoples' gender traits; there was a boy who got something like 100% female but is a male presenting male; does this mean his mind was 'in girl mode'?

btw I'm not bigender, as I understand, i feel like a boy all of the time.

just interested in the concepts of identity - I'm a male gender and sex and homosexual (if thats relevant)
