A dangerous piece of equipment no doubt, I'm sure it would tear up the lawn real good- some people just have too much time and excess stuff to fasten together- oh yea, don't forget to wear ear protection!

That thing is dangerously powerful, I've never seen a snowthrower auger move so fast. Nice rig!

@leethehunter its a Struck, Magnatrac. they still make them (better of course) but you had better have a big checkbook.

Did you bolt rubber on your tracks?
hammerdwn20 1 year ago
@hammerdwn20 , yes, went to a place that sells conveyor belts and bought a 12 foot pcs that was 9 inches wide and 1 inch thick. Cut it with a miter saw (the saw still does not like me), drilled two holes and bought elevator bolts. Pain in the rear to put on but they save the concrete and still good traction on dirt.

what kind of hydraulic motor are you using to power the snowblower?
rocsvt1 1 year ago
@rocsvt1 using a high pressure gear pump from Northern, part # 10565-2101, the struck unit has a 1056-2101 (16gpm)
