http://www.trekkingbritain.com walking website presents. Photos taken on a walk with friends on a very wet and cold day. As we headed up the M6 the weather just got worse and worse, I was leading and in charge of finding a decent route so as when we finally got to the Lakes and saw the weather we decided to head for the Kirkstone Pass for what is usually a fairly easy route up Red Screes. We all did well and made it to the summit which was covered in a foot of slushy snow, we soon made our way back down and soaked to the bone we all entered the Kirkstone Pass Inn for well deserved beer and hot chocolates, we left a huge puddle in the pub where we had been sat!
