It feels like Belmont and 187th st in the late 50s

@erichudson2009 They have more practice than the original bands who in some cases
hated rock and roll.

I didn't even know this existed on YT! I thought of the group tonight because I was in touch with someone whom I went to HS with at Pennsauken. It is the best sound alike I have ever heard, and I listen a lot. Thank you for providing this.
Always liked this song, but it is so much more apropos today with all the superficiality by women just to snag a rich husband, wait 19 years, and dump him and get a big payday.
Feel kinda sorry for young guys today.

Especially great backing arrangement!!
Apologies!!! I don't know how I managed to do it, but I hit dislike, when I meant to hit LIKE. So one of the two dislikes is actually a LIKE (it was a rough night last night!) Love this :)

I GREW UP LISTENING TO DION. THEY LIVED FAIRLY CLOSE TO ME, IN NEWARK, NJ.. THEY ARE VERY SPECIAL!
Petekiv 1 year ago
@Petekiv Yea, he lives fairly close to me now, still never got to meet him, someday? He now lives on the same block as Ernie Maresca, small world, isn't it? I was reading in his book last week about how they recorded "I Wonder Why" They did it only on the 3rd take on 1 MIC. Carlo's bass was written, WELLA WELLA WELLA and refused to do it, they huddled for a min. and came up with DEN DEN DEN DEDENN. sang the song and that's what they used. A sudden hit w/ 4 parts w/o any practice, amazing!
