Johnny Dare Braves the Missouri River

In 2004 Johnny Dare, Kansas City's radio DJ for 98.9 "The Rock," rode a wave runner from KC to St. Louis via the Missouri River, and made it back on I-70 within 24 hrs. What I love about this stunt is that it involved all of Missouri, including my little rural area where Johnny stopped for gas and I got to meet him, give him a gift, and shoot off a big firework as he left. Plus, I am on tv for like 1 second if you look hard enough.
