Unfortunately she has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and will be having her first surgery on Monday November 3rd, I can't wait to hold my little angel

The tent was filled with a lower oxygen level, we receive 21% in the air and they gave her 16% so it wouldn't flood her heart.

Her surgery went great, though it was the slowest hours of my life. My little Sasha is a fighter and did wonderful, she still has a respirator so her body can focus on healing instead of breathing. However tomorrow she will have her chest closed. I'm excited, she is doing so well, hang in baby doll. You will be in my arms soon!

They considered doing that with our daughter as well. It's so exciting getting that chest closed. Every step brings her closer to your arms. How is Sasha's mom doing through all of this?

Is the tent filled with sub-atmospheric oxygen or is it to keep her environment sterile? It's so hard having your baby sick. I remember the pain of not being able to hold my daughter as well.. I felt so cheated. Hang in there though, because soon her surgery will be past and you guys will have a lifetime to cuddle together. She's beautiful and I'll be praying for her surgery to go well and her recovery to be speedy and smooth.
