@yOmel617 nowadays u can get battery savers free on the android market. Juice defender works wonders.

@BlooDish14 what hinge issue? Mines been through some bad falls and drops and the hinge snaps into place like day one...
It's also very solid when in the closed position and the open position. I've used the Motorola Droid and that hinge wasn't very secure. When the phone was closed, you would be able to ever-so-slightly move the screen around in place. Same with the mytouch 3g slide. This doesn't have that issue.

@yOmel617 i have the g2 also and the only way it would be "loose" is if you lay on your back and it the phone outside down, otherwise it doesnt get loose..

dont i need the wifi and stuff on when using the phone?
how is the battery life? does it die quick?

@yOmel617 not terrible, better than my mytouch slide was....not fantastic, but its a touch screen smart phone so they are never great. shut gps anf wifi off and turn brightness down and itll last a good amount if time

people keep talking about the hinge problem. is it very loose?

@yOmel617 I guess? not really though, I've never had an issue the only time its loose is if you hold it a certain way and then hold it upside down, which you would never do. 6 months and havent had much problem, loving the phone! (also T-mobile is doing ALL PHONES FREE this weekend for new lines and fully upgrade eligible customers!)
