ibne mariyam hua kare koi (Somebody be Jesus)
mere dukh ki dawa kare koi (And cure my pain)
bak raha hoon junoon mein kya kya kuchh (I dont know what am I blabbering in passion)
kuchh na samjhe khuda kare koi (I hope no one understands it)

ishrat-e-qatra hai dariya mein fana ho jaana (A drop's delight is to vanish into the sea)
dard ka hadse guzarna hai dawa ho jana (Pain, if it goes beyond limits, stops hurting)
dard minnat kashe dawa na hua (The pain never asked for a cure)
main na achha hua bura na hua (My condition neither got better nor worse)

bas ke dushwaar hai har kaam ka aasaan hona (And everything just has to be so difficult)
aadmi ko bhi mayassar nahin insaan hona (Its difficult for a person to even be human)
ghar humara jo na rote bhi to veeraan hota ( My wailing is not the reason of my forlorn house)
beher gar beher na hota to biyaabaan hota (If an ocean was not an ocean, then it would be a jungle)
