One of Lionel Hampton great recording is Stardust where Slam Stewart play a bass solo while
humming. I've looked for it everywhere and can't find it.

@brabazon10 absolutely he played a cd with chick corea that was modal and without changing his style ripped right through the tunes with no problem. he is responsable for vibes becoming a jazz instrument
