Not so safe...

I deleted the audio since I might not have been using the most edifying
language right at that moment.

As I was taking the left, I expected the white car might go, so I was ready to slow down. So when they did, I was ready. I gave them a honk as I hit the brakes to avoid them, to voice my dissatisfaction.

What I wasn't ready for was that they would then attempt to merge into the side of me. I'm guessing they heard me honk, but had no clue where my car was. Luckily, my car has really good brakes (and tires).

What you can't see is that the person to the left of me saw it and also slammed on their brakes (good driver since, if the white car had merged into me, I would have gone into them).

If you pause at 0:08 you can see it was really really close.
