This is dedicated to those who are stuck in abusive situations, and resort to cutting, scratching, hair pulling, and any other form of self mutilating as emotional release to gain control over their current situation.

This video's goal is to have you recognize the brutality one has internalized when they self harm. Your abuser may no longer be physically present, but their malice lives on through the mental web of guilt, and uncertainty that inevitably ensnares abuse victims.

The method offered here is to give you moral clarity, so that you do not own the accidental. Do not own the guilt trips people put you on in efforts to have you cower in exposing them as abusers.

However, by understanding that you are not at all responsible for the abuse that is, or was directed at you, this is not enough to stop self harming tendencies. You need a good therapist, one that will help you slow down your thoughts, and actions, so that you can break the habit of self harming.

This speech given by Stefan Molyneux during one of his Sunday Call-in shows, which you can catch every Sunday at 2 pm - 4pm Est. time @ www.freedomainradio.com

  • I thought the FDR pictures at the end were a nice touch.
