  • Really cool exercises Mike-I haven't tried them yet. Would the first one work on parallette bars, or would that be too high off ground? Is a hardwood floor the only surface conducive for all three?

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • @Macraewalker Absolutely, if you're having a hard time getting the legs through you can elevate the hands until you gain the flexibility and/or strength needed. You can definitely use parallettes or dumbbells for this. At he GBT gym, we have mostly rubber flooring so we put down a slick gymnastics or wrestling matt that is perfect for socks. You can also use a slide board if you have access to one.

  • dude your explanations are great! Im trying to get stronger so thanks for this..

  • @Tyricojackson1 Hey thanks so much, you'll really enjoy these variations. Let me know how it goes!

  • Well thanks for the comment friend. I'm sure you know I made this video to spread some knowledge and not just show off. Stay tuned for Planche tutorials!

  • Mike I tried the first exercise using a pair of val slides on carpeting-worked pretty well.

  • Thanks for the reply Mike. I especially liked your muscle up series-I have not gotten my first one yet, but I feel closer. Any suggestions on adding weighted pullups with a vest to speed up the progression? I'm doing 10 sets of 3 reps with 40 added pounds, and I feel much more explosive afterwards. I want a clean muscle up, not the one arm over kind. Your tutorial makes it look so fluid. Would 1-2 reps at heavier weight be more beneficial than 3 reps at lower weight?

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • thats shit show us a planche bitch!! then ill be impressed
