@newmattygosling If you buy active monitors you won't need an amp at all, as I said to another dude try the Behringer Truths out you can achieve good mixes on those

@locmcdog Try the behringer truths, I've known quite a few audio engineers who have gotten class A results on those.

im a producer and i can say .....he's telling the honest truth about mixing and its his opinion about the monitors but he's also right about that also

@stevoe1000 You are almost as logical as Tad here. No, that's not a compliment. You want monitors with as Flat a speaker response as possible and a room that is treated to eliminate as many problem frequencies as possible. That way, when you tweak in the studio, it will translate well to the car, the home stereo etcetera.
