Hey, nice vid! I was thinking of getting one of these but I have one question before I do: it is possible to connect one of these to a source, say a DVD player, connect the other end to a computer and then record the video from the DVD player using software? I know it's not meant for this, but it'd be good if you can try this for me. Thanks! :D

@R762m No. You would need a video capture card and digital rights management could probably foil that effort. Sounds like you are looking for a DVD ripping software package.

i would like to play a racing game in multiplayer mode on two separate screens from the same desktop, and each player to have his own screen (not a splited screen) and his own keybord or joystick.....is the display link adapter good for that ???Thanks!

Hmmm...i wasn't specifically talking about a DVD player, just a device that outputs a signal. Wouldn't the program just recognise the device as a USB webcam and record from it? Thanks.
