to all those who comment on the facial expression of trad Irish players - it's the custom to maintain a neutral expression so as not to visually distract from the intensity of the music itself - ideally, you'd be better off as a listener to close your eyes or look at the ground so you could better lock into the hypnotic mood of the music.
It's a bit like classical ballet - would you expect the ballerina to have a grin on her face the whole time?

The first tune is known as "Hardiman's Fancy"; I know the tune very well because I have an old tape of the famous Galway-based Shaskeen band ("Atlantic Breeze").

i just love he way he ays her name at he start "Sorragha" most people say this name like sor-sha or sorka but the irish way is so much nicer :D

Anyone know the name of the first tune? The overall rendition is such a well-done work, expressive, lively, and impressive. Bravo. Nice fiddle too. Great backup by her brother.
