i like to make the battle long and try to get him to break all the blocks before falling. ive only accomplished this once though

Ironically, Bowser is likely the easiest boss in the game relative to his levels.
He takes a bit more patience though...

I remember this game.. It was the first one I ever beat. BTW NintendoCult I'm sure you know you can beat Bowser with fireballs. It takes 36-38 hits to kill Bowser. I've done it quite a few times. You did well in this battle. 5/5

Yes dude, i know... And takes only 5 or 6 hammers if my memory is good but it's relatively hard to keep hammers until the battle with Bowser... That means that you must pass all the castle without being touched. (Sorry for my bad english, i usually speak french).

Well, if you know every secrets (not cheats)in this game, you can easily get all of theses too dude.
