I went to the funeral of Spc. Eddie Wood in Omaha and was very touched the Patriot Guards were there along with several hundreds of people to send this hero of to his resting place. I purposely didn't want to film the pallbears loading the casket up because in my mind that's a very sensitive time for the family and friends..Thanks for defending my freedom a true hero Spc. Eddie Wood!
I showed up to counter protest the westboro and help run them off only to find out the wbc was not aloud to speak (AMEN), im still glad i went and saluted a soldier that died fighting for our freedom. Seeing family members leave in tears, i teared up with them. Once again Thank you Eddie wood!!!

I knew Eddie..we called him Freckles. He was like a brother to me and will be missed very much. I still cry over him being gone, just like many others still cry. He will never be forgotten, and anyone who thinks that the men and women who serve over seas is "evil" or is doing something "wrong" I hope you all know and understand that without them America would not be the way it is today. I am proud to know Eddie Wood.
