Lot of confetti and flour was thrown around. Men and boys who are dressed as bosomy women are called sayacas, which is a name evolved from the Spanish word for slip or elaborate dress. P...eople celebrate by throwing flour, confetti and carioca, which is like a watery shaving foam. Note the people with flour on their face.
