It might sound weird but the first time I saw that scene, my eyes probably drifted somewhere because for a second I thought they were kissing (not a forehead kiss) lol! Which seemed to be pretty logical after such a beautiful confession. I still think they should have had their first kiss right at this moment... ;) Nonetheless, it's definitely one of the most touching scenes of the series!

The best part of this scene is when Scully traces Mulders lips with her fingers.You can read it in her eyes that she wants to kiss him and she sort of does through her look and touch.

@medi176 See, that makes it all the more special. This is proof that true intimacy doesn't have to involve sex (though, sex is fun). They are physically-attracted to each other, but that attraction also involves a mutual respect. They are able to fully trust each other, and that kind of intimacy is rare. True and complete respect and love between two intelligent people is the best kind of relationship in the world. Love these two! :)
