The Marauders are SO the best thing in Harry Potter.

I love that the marauders are first (I mean because, hello- they're better than Harry and everyone else COMBINED).

He was in Gryffindor. My theory on this is that the Hat can't see what people will become-- it sees potential in people, and how they are at that moment. The Hat saw Slytherin potential in Harry, for example, but of course Harry didn't turn out like most Slytherins. I would guess at the time of his life in which he was Sorted, Wormtail actually was a good person. People change, though, and unfortunately Wormtail didn't change for the better.

...Now I feel like a geek for analyzing that. XD
