Pray to God for the answers is the only encouragement I can give. I'm afraid your anger will prevent you from seeing the forest for the trees, otherwise you would have seen. Ask the holy spirit to take your anger and open up your spiritual eyes so that you can see. I know no other answer. If you are truly searching for the answers, you can discover them in the Bible. You either believe all of it or none of it. And you already said you believe none of it. The Bible Is the Only Authority.

Well I'd rather not base my life upon authority, belief without evidence, superstition and a bronze age book written by sandmen. I have read the bible and all I see are fairy tales and contradictions. I'm afraid I need evidence. You probably need to learn to be sceptical and develop a questioning attitude. @air0to0the0throne I didn't say the people who wrote it were illiterate- I said it was written in the "most illiterate" parts of the middle east. The point basically was those people knew nothing about science and had no special knowledge about the origins of the cosmos.

Jeremiah 10:12 talks about the universe constantly expanding. Isaiah 45:18 talks about the Anthropic Principal. So no, these people weren't exactly rambling on about stupid things that have nothing to do with anything. There is science in the bible.

Isn't it fascinating that people who believe their "god" is MASTER OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE somehow think that he/she/it needs their help in taking care of skeptics on Earth? I would think that a "deity" that created at least 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,00­0 (100 sextillion) stars would be powerful enough to squash an offending unbeliever--wouldn't you?
