PLEASE HELP, i am good with cars and do most auto work my self, however the cable to my window regulator is frayed and i am currently unable to roll down my window, is there anyway to just replace the cable instead of the whole component, the regualtor is 303$ through mitsubishi and is 170$ online not worth it when the cable would cost me 2$ at a hardware store.
hey guys me and my brother found out how to pull the cable over the bottom track we had to open the motor and remove everthing inside till you get to where the cabels are but be carful make sure you put everthing back in place try to remove the small cabel it the black one and strech it till you can pull it over the bottom track then carfully put everything back 2gether ok. you will need 2 people for this.
can someone tell me how he got the cable on at 3.30 he showd the problem but he didnt show how he got the cable on on 4.00 he had it on already help help help that where im stuck rit now its driving me crazy.did he modifiy it or what
To the OP: TY its a huge help, and could you clarify what exactly you are doing to the second plastic piece to get the tension on the cables? I don't really understand what your up to there.
this is a great video but when I got to putting the cable around the bottom track I still can't get it to stretch out without there being a few inches of space in between both cable ends
The passenger side window of my car will go down but not go back up.
Is the Window Regulator the problem?
