@300guitars rt 80 - exit 35...North Jersey. I'm a very amateur electric Bass player...that's all I can handle right now. Just starting to pick up some rockabilly riffs on the guitar, but I can't play worth a damn. That doesn't stop me from trying though!

Sounds great Billy. When I listen to the Scotty Moore recording I hear an alternating bass line, low E and an octave higher which I guess he played with a thumbpick. Are you able to do that with the flatpick, or do you just play four to the bar on the low E string? Sounds good whatever.

@ted149 I can do the alternating bass line with a flat pick. Check out the videos by Danny Gatton and you'll see him doing it. -Billy

@johnnykaka66 Yes..!! I'm in a band called the "Inside Drivers". We play a lot of older country, rockabilly and rock & roll. Most of our music is original and have a CD coming out later this year.
