i am so sick that i just discovered Keaton simons a yr ago (love him love him love him) and just discovered Gareth Asher and the rock boat a couple weeks ago. so much great music i have missed out on!!

On this song (The Band: The Weight) Keaton based his Can You Hear Me...you can hear that the chord changing and the main melody are pretty much similar. I think it's good that he's one of not much artists that are going back to the REAL roots of rock, and performing songs of big influential bands such as The Band.
