I assume you refer to WW2. The USA entrered the war only because of the Japanese threat. USA wasn't the only ally (it was a WORLD war) and the Free French helped a lot too. If France had lost, Germany (and its allies) would have been so powerfull that the USA may not exist today eiher (and France would still be France even if it was occupied whereas without the war of independance the USA wouldn't have been founded at all) Anyway, to me France and the USA are friends !!!

Wrong, we did'nt asked you anything about Vietnam. You entered in war against north vietnam years after we conceived them their independance. If you got there, it was only because you were afraid of this country to adopt communism.

About WWI and WWII, we are greatful, but you seem to forget that you are not the only country to have fought this war.
