Lombard Emergency Communications Center

Lombard fire Lt. Brian Stuart has kept himself busy in the past nine months between fighting fires and taking the village into the 21st century by installing new equipment into the villages Emergency Communications Center.
Stuart, the villages deputy director of the Office of Emergency Management, recently put the finishing touches on upgrades to the Emergency Communications Center. Stuart removed the second-hand equipment the village had had for 15 years and replaced it with state-of-the-art equipment.
With Stuarts electrical knowledge and the help of more than five other firefighters and village employees installing the more than $100,000 in technology, the village is ready to handle major events including severe weather and the fireworks during the Taste of Lombard.
