Here's a preview - I used a white blurred circle as the projection texture and I wore the prim.

  • it takes a giant bunch of FPS or what?

  • Load on my computer doesn't appear to be higher than the one caused by simple Sun & Moon Shadows.

I rarely get more than 8-9 FPS with shadows enabled, while I usually get 20-30-50 or more FPS when they're disabled.

  • I think something changes on Snowglobe's shadows. They don't kill fps like render-pipeline's do.

  • Yes! This is what Second Life still needs! :D So far there were only viewers that brought shadows caused by the sun and moon, but this is very nice. I only hope the Alpha texture problems with shadows gets fixed. (Alpha textures in Second Life, such trouble makers, aren't they?)

  • I wants this baddddly.

  • whoever three starred you needs a kick in the head
