I'm a T-8 Paraplegic and have difficulty pulling up my pants, so I transfer onto a bed and lay down to pull them up. One thing I would reccomend is putting cargo pockets down by the ankles. Always in a chair or transferring, pockets anywhere else are horizontal, but my ankles are a good place for cell phones etc...
