@MuseScoreHowTo I realised that later. I was copying some music I had, to be able to hear musescore play it. That didn't have the rest drawn in. Also the last beat was drawn as a tied half note, not possible, should have been written as a quarter note as you mentioned. Don't know how they manage to publish material with such errors.

How can I get the second voice to put a note between voice one notes. Eg. 4/4 time Voice one Half note and half note. Now I want to enter a note in between the melody notes. But it does not allow me. It lines up with the first note.

@petrikNZ You'll need to just adjust the rhythm of the second voice - two half notes won't fit into a 4/4 bar if you start them on the second beat, which is why MuseScore won't let you. You'll need to start the 2nd voice with a quarter note rest, then have a half note and then a quarter note on the last beat.
